    Seriously Nice Watch
READ THIS IF YOU CANNOT FIGURE OUT HOW TO SET YOUR WATCH: This is a model E660 NOT the E650 which is featured in most videos on the internet. The only difference is on the E660 the time zones are on the outer bezel instead of the inner function dial. This may seem like a minor thing, but it completely changes how the watch is set. Trust me and search for the model E660 directions which are on the Citizen website and as of the date of posting this review there were a few videos online as well.NOW ON TO THE REVIEW!Got this watch during Prime Days for about half the list price and am extremely happy with the purchase. Other than a minor, time wasting, frustrating hour or two figuring out how to set the watch properly I’ve got to say it is well worth the money. At 42mm the case fits nicely on a small to mid size wrist. It is smaller looking then it appears in the pictures and even online reviews which was fine by me. Just note this if you have larger wrists, this watch might look “funny” on your arm.It has a nice heft to it, but not too much. Not sure what the reviewers who were complaining about it usually wear. It is lighter than some of my other 42-44mm chrono style watches. Doesn’t feel heavy when on and is nicely balanced.Case is well polished and the two tone coloring gives it a slightly different, dressier edge than other models. I don’t think I would wear this with a suit, but if this was your only watch it wouldn’t look out of place.Has tons of cool functions like the perpetual calendar and automatic setting to atomic clock radio signal. This is really a “set it and forget it” kind of watch. Eco-drive is nice too as there will never be a battery change needed. Just make sure you leave it in the sunlight or at least under a lamp for a few days after it arrives. Mine had a decent charge already but I want to “top it off” before putting it into regular rotation. If you leave this in your dark watch box for months on end though it is going to die. But, hey, it is a great watch so you ought to be wearing it on a regular basis anyhow. The chrono function is also only OK. The minute dial is so small it is impossible to see which hash it is on accurately. Fine if you are timing something for up to 60 seconds or you don’t mind counting the minutes yourself. Seriously though, how many times do you really use that chrono function? Like three times ever, right? I would just think the fine people at Citizen would have addressed this obvious flaw seeing this particular model of watch has been in their catalog for almost a decade and this is the recently updated one.One minor complaint though. I had to take out every single available link in it and even then it barely was enough to fit my wrist. If you have very narrow wrists you may be out of luck. Also, haven’t been able to get the watch to sync with the local radio broadcast. I’ll try to position it according to the instructions for a few nights and see if it finally communicates. If not, though it appears to be accurate enough. The biggest question though: is this watch worth the list price if Amazon (or elsewhere) does not have it discounted? On that, I would say generally “no” in that I prefer other watch makers in this price range, but that is just my personal preference. If you can find this for around $400 either here or somewhere else though, I would say buy it.

    A Truly Great Timepiece
I’ve use a Citizen Eco-Drive a nighthawk as my EDC for +/- about 7 years from now. I beat the living heck out of it. Face is scratched from daily use, babe is scratched as I crashed my longboard on asphalt and the band broke my fall… and survived. So I am a true believer in Citizen quality and longevity. I’m living proof of their durability. I also wear a Bulova Precisionist for going out, dinner, parties, etc. very high quality timepiece, and the Citizen, for the money, is on that level.I bought this particular piece to use as my new EDC and retire (more or less) my Nighthawk. This piece is very lightweight (thanks Titanium) and the clock accuracy is phenomenal. My precisionist keeps excellent time due to that particular movement. This piece m, with the radio controlled and perpetual movement, is even better. My watch changes minutes that match my iPhone (best gauge I could come up with to compare). Changes every minute on the minute. The date is accurate too. And the fact that I don’t need to change the numbered day of the month until February of 2100? Amazing. Even better since I got this as an Amazon Flash Sale for +/-30% off. I paid about $400 for it.Note, for band adjustment, if you do it yourself, the kind in this band are smaller than I’ve seen in other watches, so take not of that so you don’t get your tools stuck like I did! Haha. All in, 10/10 would recommend this watch to anyone. Citizen is a Gamechanger with the eco-drive and now radio controlled plus titanium.Only drawback (if you can call it that) is this watch is very lightweight. My Bulova feels like I’m carrying an anvil compared to this. Even my Citizen Stainless Nighthawk is significantly heavier. I think there is a stigma out there about having weight to it means a watch is quality. If you’re one of the “bros” who needs a big heavy watch, this piece is not for you. If you can check the ego in sacrifice of a great timepiece, this is a fantastic watch.

    great watch
I love this watch. it looks amazing and can be worn with just about anything. Very light weight and clean looking. this is going to the top of my rotation. The only disappointing thing was when the watch arrived the power cell had no charge, this meant it had to be left by a window for 48 hours of daylight to get a full charge. Without doing this the watch will not let you do the settings correctly. I was really eager to start wearing the watch so that was a bit of a drag. Now it is charged and ready to go and I really like wearing it.

Nice watch for the price, ignore the negative comments
I purchased this watch a few weeks ago. In general, i like Citizen Eco drive watches. This watch look nice and so far I am happy with it. I saw a few negative comments which I don’t agree with based on my experience. A few people complained that it is cheap feeling because of the light weight. The watch is made of titanium which is a lighter and stronger metal. So if you are buying this watch, why complain that company delivers a product as stated in the description. Second complaint is that it is difficult to set. You need to go online and get the manual to set it. Having similar products from Citizen setting is simple, you just need to set the time zone by pulling the crown back and moving the second hand one click, the watch will adjust one hour. Move it as man times as necessary to match the current hour. The watch will automatically correct the time using an atomic clock. One note on resizing the band, it is better to take this one to a jeweler for resizing. The links have sleeves that hold the pin in place that can be tricky to work with at home

This is a beautiful watch, by far my favorite watch to date. It’s very lightweight, extremely accurate (I verified to the second with the online atomic clock time.gov after a radio set +/- 15 sec per month without radio set as per online instruction manual). I did see some reviews about the strap size, I guess for some extremely heavy set guys it might be an issue but if you are like me, 6’1 210lbs, it’s no problem. In fact I had to have one link removed lol. Also I confirmed with citizen two links are provided complimentary on request anyways if it is an issue. Love the titanium, and personally I don’t find it complicated to set, it’s automatic! Just choose your time zone. Great job citizen!
