Pretty good, but if youâre big or tall, wellâ¦
I have plenty of road trips for work where I couch surf instead of paying for a hotel. I also have a tendency to pack an inflatable pad and sleep on the floor rather than taking a bed if Iâm staying in a hotel with colleagues. (Iâm unabashedly cheap; what can I say?) I picked this bag up because it was much smaller and lighter than the mummy bag Iâve used for camping for years, plus I needed something lighter for when Iâm camping in the summer (in Texas).This bag definitely gives me the foot room that a mummy bag doesnât, and itâs super easy to vent your feet as much or as little as they need. â¦but I also wanted to be able to roll over easier, and this bag (kinda) doesnât do that. Iâm not a huge guy, but Iâm not small, either. At 6â2â 205 lbs I have plenty of height in the bag, but it gets a bit tight around my torso. If my arms are down at my side the bag is almost pulled tight around me; I canât have my arms crossed across my chest. â¦but Iâm not sure how much of a problem that actually is, in practice.Remember, the bag is more than long enough for me. I can be inside *and* tuck a pillow in the top and my feet still have room. So what I find is that more often I unzip the whole bag, use it as a blanket, and tuck the edges underneath me. Most blankets are pulled tight on me if I tuck them both over the top of my shoulders and under my feet. This thing just fits. You can still regulate your temp well and it tucks underneath enough that you still have almost 360 degree coverage. â¦but at the end of the day I now only have a really useful blanket, not a sleeping bag. This may be a problem next summer when I want it for camping over my mummy bag again. Weâll see.

I purchased this sleeping bag for summer tent camping. I just returned from a trip in upstate NY in early July where night time temperatures were in the 50’s. This bag is super comfortable. Easy to zip and unzip, easy to move around in, and the dedicated zip for your feet is a wonderful feature. This bag kept me warm. Best of all, so easy to roll up and tuck back into the travel bag. I highly recommend this sleeping bag for warm weather camping.

Great sleeping bag
My children and I camped out in 30° weather this past weekend. I dreaded the idea of the confinement of a regular size sleeping bag. This one definitely gave me enough wiggle room. If you are overweight or tall or just donât like to have a tight sleeping bag, this is an excellent solution. It kept me warm on an extremely cold night, but was still easy to get in and out of.
